Chalkhill
Lime Coloured Finish Plaster
(Inside / Outside) is produced to exactly the same high standards as our finish plaster,
with organic or mineral colourfast compounds added. The colouration
we use is guaranteed by the manufacturer to be colourfast for 20
years. Using our super fine micro-lime quicklime powder, we slake
the colouration material together with the quicklime to produce
an extremely smooth coloured putty, we then add the super fine silica
sand to produce a fine finish plaster, with the colour locked inside.

We
are yet to name the colours properly, and although the colours
are new, the product itself is a tried and tested success, with
high quality colour-fast guaranteed pigments added. All of which
are natural minerals or organics.

Like
the colour? But not the Shade? We can lighten or darken the tones
of all these colours.

Got
a completely different colour in mind? That's not a problem either.
We're experienced with colour mixing and we will be able to get
a very close match to any samples you send us.

This
is a 'dynamic' product, when there is high humidity or moisture
or rain, the colour darkens. When the sun comes out and the temperature
rises the tones lighten.
|

|
|
The
really fantastic thing about this product is that it saves you time
and money without cutting any corners, or compromising the integrity
of your breathable wall surface. Extremely low maintenance. It is
two products in one, so when you apply your top coat of finish plaster
you're adding your colour at the same time. The recommended application
of lime wash on external virgin plaster is 4 coats (3 for internal),
which will need re-applying on a semi-regular basis, every few years.
Our coloured plaster should be good for 20 years, plus if you fancy
a change it is an ideal surface to apply lime wash or other breatheable
coloured materials.
